What “vintage” owners should photograph
Beyond the usual corners / base / interior / hardware:
- Date-code or stamp area (LV) — codes do not prove authenticity
- Serial / authenticity card area (Chanel) — card does not prove authenticity
- Blind stamp / hardware marks (Hermès) if consigning
- Any restoration, re-dye, replaced zipper, or restitch
- Patina that is even vs blotchy water damage
