Use this as a single end-to-end checklist when you want a conditional buyout from The Private Bag Co. in Middle Tennessee — from first photos through payment method timing. It ties together pages you may already have open so nothing critical is missed.

All buyouts are conditional pending physical inspection and authentication. Preliminary ranges are not locks. Payment timing is named by method — not “instant cash” from photos. Commercial heart roughly $500–$5,000. Independent — not affiliated with the brands.

Step 1 — Fit check (before you invest time)

Step 2 — Photograph for a usable preliminary range

- [ ] Interior + any stain/odour note in writing
- [ ] Hardware close-ups; serial/date area if present (supporting only)
- [ ] Every flaw in daylight — do not hide

Step 5 — Prep day-of (or ship day)

Step 8 — Payment (method-honest)
On acceptance of a firm conditional buyout:

No. It is a process map. Fit, verification, and acceptance still decide.
Can I skip photos and just book?
Photos first are strongly preferred so we can say buy-interest, consign, or pass before you travel.
Comps on my quote — is that my money?
No. Comps are basis. Firm offer after inspection. How comps work.
What if inspection adjusts the number down?
You can decline. Offers stay conditional on findings.
Does consign use the same checklist?
Steps 1–6 overlap; step 7–8 follow consign timeline instead of buyout payment.
